Enhancements Made to EBF’s Local Government Dental Plans
The EBF's Board of Trustees has approved enhancements to our local government dental plans. These changes are effective July 1, 2022, and provide important enhancements to EBF dental benefits.
The EBF's Sunrise, Horizon, Equinox and Dutchess dental plan allowances have been increased for dental procedures such as exams, cleanings, and x-rays. In addition, the allowances for fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, periodontal and orthodontic services have also been enhanced. While we are increasing the allowance for these important existing services, the EBF is also adding new coverage for precision attachments, fluoride coverage for adults and children and cone beam imaging, an advanced service that is becoming popular for those needing implant services.
